I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2008, a legal secretary since 1998, and a human being since before Star Wars came out the first time! I worked at The Retreat in downtown Durham from 2011 to 2024 (a truly marvelous place!) and have received training in a number of modalities including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Fertility Massage, Prenatal Massage, Warm Stone Massage, Reflexology, and Neural Reset Therapy.
It really all boils down to me listening as carefully as I can to both what you and your body are telling me and then using all the tools in my toolbox to try to balance your need for therapy with your need for nurturing. Walking that line is my strength and where I put the majority of my energy during your session.
